Associations

We are actively involved in numerous industry associations and international federations, contributing to the definition of standards, technological development and the promotion of sustainability. Participating in these organisations enables us to consolidate our presence on the market, collaborate with authoritative partnersand stay updated on the latest innovations and regulations. In this section we describe the main organisations of which we are members.

EGMF

The purpose of EGMF (European Garden Machinery industry Federation) is to represent the interests of European gardening, forestry and turf maintenance equipment manufacturers. These manufacturers work on the development of machinery that meets the highest standards of quality, safety, ergonomics, environmental friendliness and energy efficiency. EGMF works proactively at European level with users, manufacturers, distributors, research institutes and European institutions on optimal solutions to achieve these sometimes conflicting objectives. Currently, EGMF members include 30 European producers and 7 national associations from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK. These associations represent indirect EGMF members, which are mainly SME manufacturers operating in the country where each association is based.

eFuel Alliance

The eFuel Alliance is an organisation that promotes the industrial production and global use of synthetic fuels (e-fuels), with the goal of reducing CO2 emissions. It is an interest group that brings together companies, associations and professionals from different sectors — including the oil, automotive, renewable energies and research industries — of which Emak has become a member.

EUROMOT

EUROMOT is an association, founded in 1991, which represents global manufacturers of internal combustion engines and alternative powertrains. It serves as a hub of expertise for businesses, authorities and other stakeholders, promoting cross-sector collaboration and environmental sustainability. Emak has been a member for several years and actively participates in its working groups.

SAE

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International is a global professional organisation that promotes innovation and technological development in the transportation sectors, specifically the automotive, aerospace and commercial vehicle industries. Its main activity is defining internationally recognised technical standards on fundamental aspects such as the classification of engine oils, specifications for mechanical and electrical components, and communication protocols between vehicle systems. In addition to standardisation, SAE plays an important role in training engineers, offering courses, conferences and scientific publications, thus contributing to the professional growth of those who work in the sector. Through its initiatives, it also promotes the dissemination of research and innovation, making it a point of reference for professionals, companies and institutions working in the development of transportation technologies. Emak actively participates in the organisation both through the affiliation of some of its technicians, and as a member of the Scientific Committee of the SETC Conference of SAE International. This commitment allows us to partner closely with research centres and universities throughout the country and expand our scientific networking opportunities.

FederUnacoma

The Italian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Federation, established in 2012 as a continuation in federative form of the activities of Unacoma, brings together various associations of Italian manufacturers, including Comagarden, representing gardening machinery manufacturers, to which Emak belongs. The Federation was created with the aim of recognising the efficiency and autonomy of the individual product groups that compose it, favouring aggregation policies among its members.
FederUnacoma activities are aimed at incentivising the mechanisation of agricultural, energy and public and private green care activities, promoting the development and technological renewal of reference mechanical fleets in Italy and abroad, and providing members with focused support, assistance and innovative services.
FederUnacoma member companies account for 80% of the national production of the sectors represented, with exports equal to 65%.
