Diversity and Inclusion
Embracing inclusivity, valuing people
At Emak, we promote an inclusive culture every day that welcomes and encourages every uniqueness, thus creating a place where people feel safe, respected and an integral part of a common project.
Among our commitments, gender equality plays a central role: we invest in initiatives and programmes to make our company culture increasingly inclusive, because we are convinced that diversity – of experiences, perspectives and skills – is an inexhaustible source of value and innovation for the company and for people.
A work culture based on respect
We are committed to ensuring a working environment that is safe, respectful and free from discrimination. Our Anti-Harassment Policy applies to all people who interact with the company – employees, consultants, suppliers, customers and visitors – and recognises their rights and responsibilities. The document is a solid basis for preventing and addressing inappropriate behaviour and is subject to periodic review.
Building respect and inclusion, word by word
We have adopted an inclusive language that puts people at the centre, counters stereotypes and promotes respectful relationships. We have formalised it in a policy, shared with all staff, that collates examples and practical recommendations for promoting non-discriminatory communication and an increasingly welcoming work environment in which each individual feels valued.
The value of people
We adopt fair and inclusive selection that places attention on valuing every talent, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity or other personal characteristics. Our guidelines help to avoid stereotypes and prejudices, ensuring equal opportunities and respect for all people. If you share these values and want to be part of our business, we invite you to learn more here.
Diversity and equal opportunities
In our Non-Financial Information Statement we offer a transparent report of our environmental and social impact, highlighting our concrete commitment to enhancing diversity and promoting equal opportunities, in line with the principles of sustainable development.
