For the fourth season in a row, Emak has renewed its sponsorship with Lucio Cecchinello's LCR E-Team in the electric motorcycle racing class of the MotoGP World Championship: once again, this year the Oleo-Mac brand will hit the track with Mattia Casadei, the reigning MotoE world vice-champion, while the Efco brand will race with Eric Granado.
Bagnolo in Piano (RE), 8 May – The 2025 MotoE World Championship is underway, held over 14 races on 7 European circuits. It starts in Le Mans on the weekend of 9-10 May and concludes in the Algarve in November, supporting the MotoGP World Championship at most of the competition’s European circuits.
For the fourth consecutive season, Emak will be taking to the track with the LCR E-Team managed by Lucio Cecchinello: once again, this year the Oleo-Mac brand will hit the tarmac with Mattia Casadei, reigning MotoE world vice-champion, while the Efco brand will race with Eric Granada, who recently won his fifth Brazilian Superbike Championship title.
The Efco and Oleo-Mac logos will be clearly visible both on the riders' suits and on the official motorcycle of the championship, the V21L MotoE from Ducati, which is the sole supplier for the entire competition.
“The partnership with the LCR E-Team is underpinned by a common vision: to innovate by means of cutting-edge technologies and embrace a sustainable and environmentally friendly development model,” explained Giovanni Masini, Marketing Director for Emak. “We are proud to continue this adventure in the first world championship for fully electric motorcycles and we look forward to the 2025 championship with enthusiasm, certain that it will bring great satisfaction to our two riders, to whom we extend our full support and best wishes for the upcoming season.”
“We are proud to continue our partnership with the Emak group for a fourth consecutive season,” said Lucio Cecchinello, Team Principal of the Honda LCR MotoGP Team and LCR E-Team, “and we are proud to ‘carry’ the Oleo-Mac and Efco brands all over the world, on our motorcycles. We believe very much in the LCR E-Team project, both from a sporting point of view (indeed we are aiming for great results!), and to make our own contribution to the study and development of increasingly sustainable technologies, in the automotive sector and beyond. 2025 will be an exciting season and we can’t wait to get on the track!”
