Bagnolo in Piano (Reggio Emilia), October 14, 2025 – Emak is enriching its range of professional flail mowers with new models featuring an 80 cm cutting width, available for the Efco, Oleo-Mac, Nibbi, and Bertolini brands.
Designed for intensive use in farming and gardening, these models are the ideal solution for maintaining uncultivated land, roadside verges, sloping terrain, brambles, and undergrowth, where ordinary lawnmowers or brush cutters cannot reach.
The tracked version further expands the possibilities of use, ensuring maximum stability, grip, and safety even on muddy, slippery, or particularly uneven terrain.
The professional cutting unit with 46 Y-shaped flail blades ensures clean and uniform cutting of grass, vine shoots, branches, brush, and stubble. The rotor is supported by reinforced, shielded bearings for perfect balance and greater resistance to accidental impacts, while the safety clutch always protects the operator. The cutting height can be adjusted (from 20 to 80 mm) using a worm gear lever, allowing maximum precision in all conditions.
In terms of engines, the tracked version is equipped as standard with the GX 390 ALPIN engine, designed to guarantee high torque even on difficult terrain, while the wheeled model is available with two engines, GX 340 and GX 340 ALPIN, to adapt to different operating conditions.
Numerous technical solutions make your work easier: independent steering clutches with wheel locks ensure maneuverability and control; lockable pivoting front wheels, operated from the handlebar, maintain the cutting direction even on steep terrain; the reinforced 4-speed mechanical transmission (3+1R) with oil-bath gears offers smoothness and durability. The handlebar is adjustable to 4 heights and 5 lateral positions, with an easily accessible ergonomic lever, ensuring maximum comfort of use and adaptability to every operator.
In addition to the wheeled flail mower version, a model with a vertically oscillating track drive system is also available, designed to safely tackle the most difficult working conditions. Thanks to the even distribution of weight over the surface, the tracks reduce ground pressure, preventing damage to even the most delicate agricultural areas.
This configuration guarantees maximum grip and stability, allowing you to easily overcome obstacles, muddy or slippery terrain, and work in complete safety even on steep slopes or uneven surfaces.
